INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
If you are a student or recent college graduate who would like to apply to FSG's internship program for an introduction to book publishing, send a resume, cover letter, and short nonfiction writing sample (4-6 pages) by e-mail to interns@fsgbooks.com.
Please note that the internship is unpaid and that no phone calls are accepted. Internships can run for a minimum of two months and a maximum of four, two to five days a week. Applications for the three seasons are accepted starting on the following dates:
Winter session (January-April), September 1
Summer session (May-August), January 1
Fall session (September-December), June 1

Editorial
All editorial inquiries should be emailed to the editorial department at fsg.editorial@fsgbooks.com. Sorry, but we do not accept manuscript submissions via email.
Unsolicited submissions are accepted at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. All submissions must be submitted through the mail—we do not accept electronic submissions, or submissions delivered in person. Please include a cover letter describing your submission, along with the first 50 pages of the manuscript. If you are submitting poems, please include 3-4 poems. If you wish to hear back from us, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your submission. If you wish for us to return your manuscript, please include a self-addressed, appropriately-sized and stamped envelope with your submission (we cannot return manuscripts if you do not send this envelope with your submission). We will reply in 6-8 weeks of the receipt of the submission.
