1.) If your won the lottery, what would you do with your newfound wealth?
I'd buy all the time in the world so I could: 1.) Go back to school and take more philosophy classes, 2.) Feed sandwiches to as many needy people as possible in my hometown, 3.) Buy a boat and go fishing.

2.) If you could visit any time, place, or person, when, where, or who would you visit?
Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

3.) What book, movie, TV show, or album has changed your life, and how?
The Catcher in the Rye (when I read it in high school) because it showed me that it was OK to go against the current and break the rules.

4.) Besides being an author, what is your fantasy job?
Mixed martial arts cage fighter... OK, seriously, I'd be either an independent filmmaker, or a baseball player, or a professional angler.

5.) Who has been the greatest influence in your life? How?
My mother and father for teaching me patience. Being a patient person gives you a great advatnage because it enables you to see large projects through to completion.
