Boutheina Khaldi

Boutheina Khaldi is an assistant professor of Arabic and Translation Studies at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Her research focuses on women's literary salons in Arabic, English, French, and Persian; classical and modern Arabic literature in translation; postcolonial literature; women's literary production in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century France and England; and women's biographies. She has published a number of articles and co-edited three books, Al-Adab al-'Arabi al-?adith: Mukhtarat, Al-Wafi fi Turath al-'Arab al-Thaqafi, and Turath al-'Arab al-Ma'rifi.
