David P. Jordan

David P. Jordan received his Ph.D. from Yale University, USA. He is the Distinguished Professor of French History, Emeritus, at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA, and the author of books on Edward Gibbon, Baron Haussmann's Paris, Louis XVI, and Robespierre. He lives with his wife and daughter in Chicago playing chamber music whenever possible.
