About the Author
Dottie Thorson took up bounty hunting after her husband, Ralph Thorson, was killed by one of his captures. Christopher Keane's biography of Ralph's life, The Hunter, had been a bestseller and a movie directed by Steve McQueen; his biography of Dottie served as a sequel. Dottie Thorson was the inspiration for the character of the same name, portrayed by Annette O'Toole, in USA Network's crime drama series The Huntress. Dottie lives and works in Los Angeles with her daughter and bounty hunting partner, Brandi Thorson.
