CAROL FIELD DAHLSTROM was Executive Editor at Better Homes and Gardens books for many years. She is now president of her own company, Brave Ink Press. She became interested in developing gluten-free recipes when family members were diagnosed with Celiac disease.

ELIZABETH DAHLSTROM BURNLEY has a M.S. and B.S. in Nutritional Science. She is currently a faculty member at Iowa State University, teaching food science and human nutrition courses, as well as a class on gluten-free cooking and baking.

MARCIA SCHULTZ DAHLSTROM has Celiac disease. Marcia has dedicated herself to developing gluten-free recipes that are easy and inexpensive and that she can prepare and enjoy with her family.

If you could visit any time, place, or person, when, where, or who would you visit?
I would love to visit Boston during the American Revolution and be able to talk and learn from our forefathers.

Who's your favorite fictional character, and why?
Anne Shirley of Anne of Green Gables, because she is smart, spunky, and always speaking her mind!
What music, food, drink, toys, etc... do you keep by your side when you're writing?
I always have my cat, Bobo, and a glass of iced tea.

What do you enjoy doing the most with your free time?
I enjoy being with my family and friends, spending time outside, and cooking.

Besidse writing, what other forms of art and creativity do you indulge in?
Cooking is my greatest creative outlet. I love to try new recipes and ingredients. I also love gardening and landscaping.
