Hyejin Kim

Hyejin Kim is a writer and educationist living in Singapore. She is originally from Seoul and holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University and an M.A. in China Studies from the University of Washington. She has published a work of fiction, Jia: A Novel of North Korea (2007), based on her fieldwork among North Koreans in China, as well as two books published in Korean, Food of the World: China (2007) and Why Does the World Rush to Peking University? (2002).
