Joel Champetier

Joel Champetier was the fiction editor of Solaris magazine in Quebec and has published several SF and fantasy novels and a number of stories.  He is a winner of the Prix Boreal.  A few of his short stories have been translated and published in English (in the Tesseracts anthologies in Canada), but The Dragon's Eye is the first of his novels to be published in English.  It gives ample evidence that Champetier is a significant writer in the science fiction world.
