Marco Verweij

MARCO VERWEIJ is Professor of Political Science at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. He is the author of Clumsy Solutions for a Wicked World: How to Improve Global Governance (2011). Empirically, his aim is to understand how pressing public issues can be resolved through the combined forces of (inter-)governmental action, entrepreneurship and technological innovation, and civil society engagement. Theoretically, he attempts to explore the possible synergies between social and political theory, social neuroscience, the study of animal social life, and the analysis of human complex systems.
