Margery Williams

Margery Williams (1881-1944) was born in London and spent most of her life in London and the United States. She was the author of several adult books, and received the Newbery Honor for her young adult novel, Winterbound, but she is best known for The Velveteen Rabbit, her first and much-loved children's book.
