What’s your favorite book that wasn’t written or drawn by you?
That’s impossible to answer. But I do love Vonnegut and Tolkien. Reading Moonshadow by J.M. DeMatteis and Jon J. Muth was one of my major inspirations to pursue comics way back when I was a youngin’. Other favs include Buddha by Osamu Tezuka, almost anything by Joann Sfar, and Thor by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Almost anything by Kirby, really.
If you were shipwrecked on a desert island, what one piece of media would you take with you? If it isn’t your favorite book, explain how you came to this peculiar decision.
It would probably be a book, since there’ll be no electricity for other media. I dunno. Lord Of The Rings? It’s long, and it’s about everything.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Haven’t had ice cream in years. Do they still make it?
How are you planning to survive the zombie apocalypse?
By being king of the zombies.
