Miwa Hirono

Miwa Hirono is an RCUK Research Fellow at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. She taught at the Department of International Relations at the Australian National University, where she was awarded a Ph.D. in International Relations. She was a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing (2003-2004), and conducted extensive fieldwork throughout many provinces and autonomous regions in China.
