Sahra Gibbon

Sahra Gibbon holds a Wellcome Trust University Award and works in the Anthropology Department at UCL. She has carried out research in the UK, Cuba, and Brazil and is the author of a number of monographs and articles examining the social and cultural context of developments in genetic knowledge and technology, including Breast Cancer Genes and the Gendering of Knowledge (2007) and Biosocialities, Genetics and the Social Sciences: Making Biologies and Identities (with Carlos Novas, 2008).
