Where did you grow up?
I grew up in suburban Hillsborough, NJ, about 30 miles outside New York City.
What is your earliest memory of writing/drawing?
I have been drawing as long as I can remember. As a child and teen I illustrated hundreds of comic books and comic strips and wrote silly stories with my friends in our spare time.
What inspired you to write/illustrate your first book?
I have always wanted to reach out and share my ideas with children.
Do you use your childhood as inspiration?
I am a 32 year old 12-year-old. I am a professional child!
What are your hobbies and interests besides reading and books?
I enjoy traveling the far and dusty corners of the world, reading about design and architecture, and eating cookies.
