REVIEWS

Praise for When Autumn Comes

"Beautifully composed color photos are combined with a brief text to portray typical events of a New England autumn in the country....Unusually attractive."--Kirkus Reviews

"A cozy and evocative photo essay, replete with the many familiar colors and activities of the fall season....The spare text suits the seasons perfectly, and Maass's carefully chosen subjects go about their chores seemingly unaware of the camera's eye."--Publishers Weekly

"Maass, a skilled photographer, fills his pictures with autumnal colors, symbols, and the changes in town and countryside....A beautiful photo essay."--School Library Journal
