General Information

How do I contact a St. Martin’s Press author? Can I get my book signed?
We regularly forward mail to authors. Please be aware that due to the volume of mail received, it may take time for your letter or package to be forwarded. Only regular mail will be forwarded.

Please send any correspondence to an author (including autograph requests) to the address listed below:

St. Martin’s Press

Authors’ addresses, phone numbers, and personal email addresses are held in confidence; while we will forward regular mail, we cannot give out contact information. Some authors have public websites or email addresses; you can find many of these in the Resources section of this website or on the individual Author pages.

Will St. Martin’s Press authors autograph my copies of their books?
We cannot guarantee that an author will sign your book, but we will forward packages. If you send a book to be signed, please enclose a return mailer. St. Martin’s Press and the authors are not responsible for damage incurred during shipping; books and other material to be autographed are sent at your own risk.

Is there a way to send feedback on a recent book I’ve read?
We will gladly receive it at: [email protected]. Please be sure to provide:

  • The title of the book
  • Comments
  • Your Name

Can I get a replacement copy of a damaged book?
If you have purchased a damaged book, you should return or exchange it at the place of purchase (with your receipt).

Bookstores will gladly exchange the book, and return the problem book to us.
While production mistakes are rare they do occasionally occur. We take these mistakes seriously and make it a priority to satisfy customers and ensure that problems are corrected.

Can I get a replacement jacket for a hardcover?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide replacement jackets for hardcovers. These are produced in limited quantities and there are no extras.
