Author's NoteTHE STORY THAT FOLLOWS BROKE ON FRIDAY NIGHT, May 4, 2001, and continues to unfold as I write these words. Six weeks have passed since actor Robert Blake's wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, was murdered in Hollywood, California. The teams of detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department are still trying to figure out who killed her. This book makes no assumptions or presumptions regarding who Bonny's murderer might be--I simply do not know, and the LAPD has released few details. What I have attempted to do here is to present the facts of the case as they are known
