A a graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies, Alexis Frederick-Frost lives outside of Boston and works at a library.  His first comic, La Primavera, was the recipient of a Xeric Grant. 
 
“I was always drawing comics as a child. In middle school, when I was pretty nerdy and didn't have great social skills, drawing comics was one of the ways I could relate to other kids. Comics challenge me to create a story that people will be emotionally invested in, with characters they can relate to and a world they can get lost in, using only drawings and a few words.”
