Revolutionary Lives

Revolutionarry Lives

Revolutionary Lives
is a series of books which chart the life stories of some of the most exciting, influential and controversial figure in global politics. Sympathetic but not sycophantic, Revolutionary Lives authors aim to celebrate their subjects but also question their political choices; to highlight their achievements but also to look at the impacts that commitment to a cause can have on an individual.

The great sweep of revolutionary history is about ordinary people, about movements and about mass mobilisation. But sometimes it is also about the individuals who inspire, who help to push thought and action forward, and whose lives may offer us a window into their particular periods of history and change. The Revolutionary Lives series is about some of those people.
