Davy Rice has a talent.  He can teleport—he can jump in an instant to any place on Earth that he’s been before.  And he’s the only one.

A young man with nothing to lose, and the ability to go anyplace he wants to, doesn’t have to worry much about money, or a place to live.

But he can make a lot of trouble, and sooner or later the government is going to come looking for him.  And worse than the government, because few things would be more valuable to a criminal enterprise than a tamed teleport.
