Tobias S. Buckell discusses the origin of his new novel, Sly Mongoose (Tor, August 19, 2008). The idea for the novel came from a speech by a NASA physicist describing how it's physically possible to have floating cities. Tobias took this inspiration and came up with a fantastic novel.
