Reviews

Praise for The Kingfisher Book of Funny Poems

“The hefty volume contains more than 200 poems, the largest number from McGough himself, and dominated mostly by men, such as Spike Milligan, Ogden Nash, Douglas Florian and Jack Prelutsky.” —Publishers Weekly

“This collection is chock-full of wacky, witty, and whimsical poems that will hook readers from the first stanza to the last...What really brings out the humor are the equally zany black-and-white drawings that appear on almost every page...Students looking for a poem for an assignment or just something fun to read will appreciate this anthology.” —School Library Journal
