About the Author

Born in the Montreal suburb of Chambly, Thomas Desaulniers-Brousseau now lives and works in the city. He studied cinema and has a bachelor’s degree in translation and French literature from McGill University. In the summer, he plants trees on the family orchard near Thetford Mines. Middle child of three, his first comic was a 13-volume Dragon Ball rip-off that took place on a planet where younger brothers were the strongest. From 2012 to 2014, he drew and cowrote the webcomic Boire du mercure. A few of his short stories were long-listed in national contests. Idle Days is his first published work.
