From the author of The Giant of Jum comes The Great Gran Plan, Elli Woollard's rollicking new rhyming fairytale retelling in which one of the Three Little Pigs must save Little Red Riding Hood’s granny.

In this riff on Little Red Riding Hood, the pig from The Three Little Pigs gets mixed up in the Big Bad Wolf's plot to eat Granny. Fortunately, Granny is a tough old bird who can take care of herself—and everyone else, too. A funny, rhyming read-aloud!

Praise for The Great Gran Plan

"The cadence of the lines dances on the pages, perfectly playing off the old "Fee Fi Fo Fum" rhymes with eloquence and aplomb. Fully embracing the spirit of the enterprise, Davies has a great deal of fun with the images . . . A merry old tale that's No. 1!" —Kirkus Reviews, starred review, on The Giant of Jum

"A charming marriage of text and art, this book will stand up to repeated presentations again and again. An excellent read-aloud for class visits as well as a lovely bedtime story recommendation." —School Library Journal on The Giant of Jum

Elli Woollard; illustrations by Steven Lenton

Elli Woollard writes picture books, poems, and other things (most of them silly), including The Giant of Jum, Troll Stroll, The Pet Itch, and Dinosaurs Don't Draw. She lives with her four wonderful children, her meteorologist husband, and two guinea pigs in London. She does not live with a cat, although the neighbors seem to think otherwise.

Steven Lenton has illustrated many best-loved books for children, including a picture book adaptation of Dodie Smith's The Hundred and One Dalmatians, Dilley the Donkey, The Great Rocket Robbery, and Dinosaurs Don't Draw. Steven hails from Cheshire and now works from his studio in Brighton, creating an array of charming characters for his books. He is also a children’s book blogger.
