Hater series

The human race has been split in two by an impossible, irreversible division – the Hate. The Hate knows no boundaries: parents and children, lovers, teachers and students, employers and employees, politicians, the military… anyone might turn on anyone else at any moment and without warning. The person you love and trust the most might be the person who kills you. Within days a handful of violent attacks on individuals becomes a hundred, then thousands, then worse. The world is at war with itself, and there’s only one possible outcome: it’s either them or us.

In the middle the chaos, one man struggles to make sense of it all. He is Danny McCoyne – a nobody, an everyman, torn in two by the war. McCoyne’s unique ability to hold the Hate forces him into the centre of the storm. He sets out to save his family, but finds himself at the very heart of a pivotal confrontation that will decide the fate of everyone left alive.
