Marcus Didius Falco Mysteries

It’s the first century A.D. and Marcus Didius Falco is an “informer”–a private detective–who has a nose for trouble that’s sharper than most. His job is to uncover unwelcome truths and deal with sensitive situations, frequently at the behest of the imperial government. In this historical mystery series, follow him from Ancient Rome’s glittering monuments to its perilous back alleys for an insider’s view of the Empire’s less than glorious side.
