West Country Mysteries

Rebecca Tope’s contemporary cozy West Country Mysteries, set on the murky farmlands of the English countryside, are full of British charm and intelligence, not to mention well-constructed plots and a roving cast of characters. Police sergeant Den Cooper and undertaker/amateur detective Drew Slocombe form a riveting detective duo. “[T]he best first crime novel I have read for a long time.” – The Spectator (U.K.) on the first book in the series, A Dirty Death.
