Q & A

Eight Questions for Vera Brosgol
What’s your favorite book?
Lolita's really good. That's my classy answer. My non-classy answer is the Scott Pilgrim series.
If you were shipwrecked on a desert island, what one piece of media would you take with you?  If it isn’t your favorite book, explain how you came to this peculiar decision.
My Nintendo DS. With no one to talk to I'd probably really appreciate the social interaction provided by the Brain Age guy. And my Animal Crossing friends.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
How are you planning to survive the zombie apocalypse?
I do not plan to survive the zombie apocalypse.
What’s your favorite word?
Pancakes. Hopefully preceded by "would you like some".
If you suddenly fell into a dimensional vortex and ended up in 1529, what profession would you adopt?
As a lady I'm not sure what my options would be. I'd be pretty happy being a cook. Or spinning yarn.
Black or white?  Cats or dogs?  Apples or oranges?  Robots or vampires?
Neither, both, apples, vampires.
What’s the worst fortune cookie advice you ever got?  Did you take it?
"It is not in your nature to give." I'm hurt, fortune cookie. No soup for you.
