Cristina Archetti

Cristina Archetti is Lecturer in Politics and Media at the University of Salford, UK. Her research is multidisciplinary and focuses on the relationship between journalism, politics, and society in a globalized world. She has a PhD and an MA in International Communications from the University of Leeds (UK). She worked as a Lecturer in International Communications at the Institute of Communications Studies (Leeds University) and was visiting Lecturer at the School of Media and Public Affairs (SMPA) at George Washington University. She has won the 2008 Denis McQuail Best Article of the Year for Advancing Communication Theory Award and was McQuail Honorary Fellow of 2009-10 at Amsterdam University.
