David Lawson

DAVID LAWSON is a Lecturer at The Institute for Development Policy and Management and senior research fellow/faculty associate with The Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) and Brooks World Poverty Institute (BWPI), University of Manchester. He has extensive developing country experience and his research interests are in development economics, but more specifically applied microeconometric analysis, and poverty dynamics, in relation to health and gender. He has published in leading development journals consulted extensively for the World Bank and DFID and is on the WHO Scientific Resource Group on Equity Analysis and Research. He is lead editor of “What Works for The Poorest: Poverty Reduction Programmes for the Ultra Poor” (2010), Practical Action.
