Maj-Lis Follér

MAJ-LIS FOLLÉR is Associate Professor in Latin American Studies. She is at present director at the Institute of Iberoamerican Studies, Göteborg University, Sweden. She has spent many years in the Peruvian Amazon working with indigenous health. She is currently working on AIDS-related research in Brazil, and has published several articles on HIV/AIDS in Brazil and was the co-editor of the anthology No Name Fever: AIDS in the Age of Globalization (2005, with Håkan Thörn).
