Markus Thiel

Markus Thiel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Florida International University, Miami. His research interests are in the fields of Nationalism and Identity Politics and the Political Sociology of the European Union. He has published several EU-related articles and two co-edited volumes, Diversity in the European Union (with Lisa Prügl, 2009) and Identity Politics in the Age of Globalization (with Roger Coate, 2010).
