Ricardo Ventura Ventura Santos

Ricardo Ventura Santos received his PhD from the Department of Anthropology of Indiana University in 1991. He is currently a professor of biological anthropology and public health at the National School of Public Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and an associate professor of anthropology at the Department of Anthropology of the National Museum, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was a fellow of the Leadership Program of the MacArthur Foundation in Brazil and received his postdoctoral training at the Science, Technology and Society (STS) Program at MIT and at the University of Massachusetts.
