About the Author
Jerry Newman is the author of several novels and short stories for adults, as well as Sudden Proclamations, a collection of poetry. He is currently on the faculty of the Creative Writing Department at the University of British Columbia.
Margaret Hewitt is a frequent contributor to Sassy, Ladies' Home Journal, and many other magazines. She has illustrated several books for Holt, including Wandering Girl.
