About the Author

An award-winning actress, MARIA BELLO is popularly known for roles in Coyote Ugly, Cooler, A History of Violence, and The Jane Austen Book Club. She also starred in the Fox television series Touch (2013) and played a part in the classic television series ER. In 2013 Bello was awarded the Best Ensemble Award for the film Prisoners and she recently finished writing an original television series. Her first book, Whatever...Love Is Love: Questioning the Labels We Give Ourselves, was published in 2015.
