Praise for Saddles, Stars and Stripes: Chance of a Lifetime

“The perspective of a child from a slave-owning family is not often used in Civil War fiction, making this a unique read. Many moral questions are left for the reader to ponder.” —Children's Literature

“Give these books to readers who are horse crazy...” —School Library Journal
