Gene has a deadly secret: he’s one of the last remaining humans living in a world of predators who hunger for his blood. Unlike his classmates, he can’t run with lightning speed, sunlight doesn’t hurt him and he doesn’t have an unquenchable lust for blood. Gene’s only defense lies in his carefully constructed façade, but when he’s chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hunt the last remaining humans, Gene’s life begins to crumble around him, especially when he encounters a girl who makes him feel things he never thought possible. A spectacular debut that’s been hailed as “brilliant” “sublime” and “genius”, the Hunt trilogy follows Gene’s harrowing journey as he fights to escape the deadly predators pursuing him.
